Heritage as a discipline.
Cirta wasn't named for marketing. It was chosen because the original Cirta represented exactly what we believe consulting should be: strategic, considered, and built to last.
In antiquity, Cirta was the capital of the Numidian Kingdom — a hilltop citadel in North Africa renowned for its strategic position, intellectual life, and commercial reach across the Mediterranean.
Long before Rome admired it, Cirta was already a place of consequence. Built on a fortress-like plateau encircled by deep gorges, it was defensible by design — but also open enough to host scholars, traders, and strategists from across the ancient world. Its kings, including the famed Massinissa, used it as a seat of governance, diplomacy, and long-term thinking.
That layered identity — strategic, refined, deeply rooted in North Africa, but globally engaged — is what we wanted at the foundation of this firm.
The modern Cirta LLC takes the same posture: senior-level perspective, regional intimacy, and strategic discipline applied to the operational realities of small and medium-sized businesses across the MENA region.
Consulting should produce outcomes, not artifacts.
Too much of the consulting world runs on PowerPoint instead of practice. Decks stack up, frameworks proliferate, and businesses end up exactly where they started — only with more vocabulary.
Cirta operates differently. We measure ourselves by what gets implemented, what gets faster, what gets cleaner. Our deliverables are built to be used, our recommendations are built to be executed, and our engagements are built around accountability — yours and ours.
That's the practical legacy of the original Cirta: clarity over ceremony, structure over noise, and the strategic patience to build things that hold up over time.
The principles behind every engagement.
Senior on every engagement
No junior handoffs. Every client interacts directly with senior advisors who own the outcome end-to-end.
Regional fluency
We understand the MENA business landscape — its informal networks, regulatory texture, and operating realities — natively, not theoretically.
Global standards
Our methodology is built on the rigor of global best practice. Regional context shapes the approach, but never lowers the bar.
Boutique by design
We engage selectively. Fewer clients means deeper engagement and better outcomes — by structural choice, not by accident.
Implementation-led
Strategy without execution is theater. We design every engagement to produce work that can be implemented immediately.
Long-term posture
We optimize for the relationship, not the transaction. Many of our engagements compound into multi-year partnerships.
Built for the way modern businesses actually run.
